Senior Product Manager
date posted:Monday, April 16, 2018
An experienced Senior Product Manager is passionate about building products that customers love. (S)he will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to build software products that deliver vision and strategy. The Senior Product Manager's key responsibility is to lead and collaborate with these cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and continue to improve these products in a cost-effective, predictable manner. The Senior Product Manager's key role is strategic, not tactical. The other organizations support his or her strategic efforts; (s)he does not support their tactical tasks.
To be effective in this role, the Senior Product Manager must command a unique blend of business and technical expertise, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. (S)he must enjoy spending time in the marketplace to understand customers' problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader marketplace. Although executive leaders are responsible for establishing the vision and direction, guiding decision makers toward desired objectives, the Senior Product Manager leads from the middle, driving daily decisions that transform executive vision into action. Not only does the Senior Product Manager understand how to make things happen, (s)he promotes efficiency and effectiveness by knowing how to lead and work with other people collaboratively to achieve the desired business results.
