Job Description

The selected candidate will:

  • Be responsible for assisting withdeveloping and maintaining the environmental, health, and safety programs andprocedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations forFredericksburg and for the Branch offices.

  • Be responsible for developingE-learning trainings for EH&S for Fredericksburg and the Branch offices.

  • Be responsible for trainingemployees both in Fredericksburg and the Branch offices.

  • Be responsible for assisting withinternal audits to ensure the effectiveness of the EH&S program.

  • Be responsible for researching andupdating all legal requirements and relevant laws and regulation forms as theyrelate to our Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management System.

  • Be responsible for maintenance ofSafety Data Sheets for the Fredericksburg location and support for branchoffices.

  • Assist with preparation of local andstate-required environmental and safety-related documentation forFredericksburg and branches as applicable.

  • Organize and facilitate companysafety committee meetings insuring implementation of preventative andcorrective measures.

  • Be responsible for tracking resourceutilization and preparing analysis reports.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate’s background will include:

  • High School Diploma (required); BSin Business, Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering or equivalent fiveyears’ experience in EH&S field.Twoyears’ experience in a prior EHS role (required)

  • Good communication skills/phoneskills (required)

  • Computer skills, includingproficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • SAP experience (preferred)

  • Regular physical attendance at theworksite

  • Some travel may be required
